Who can live at PERIS Hill?

PERIS Hill has 45 studio and single bedroom apartments with bathroom, kitchen, and laundry in each unit. Fifteen units are designated for young people who have aged out of the Hennepin County foster care system. The remaining thirty units will be marketed and available to potential tenants who qualify for 50-60% Area Median Income (AMI) affordable housing and are interested in being part of an intentional affordable housing community that includes young people with foster care experience.

What is the relationship between PERIS Foundation and PERIS Hill?

PERIS Foundation oversees and champions PERIS Hill, an intentional housing community in Hennepin County that supports and empowers young people who have experienced foster care to develop and thrive. The PERIS Foundation executive director and board of directors works with our partners at PERIS Hill, Volunteers of America as property manager and the YMCA of the North as the supportive services provider, to ensure that the mission and vision are realized.

What is the relationship between the Graves Foundation and PERIS?

The Graves Foundation has been instrumental in the development and incubation of the PERIS model. PERIS is the Graves Foundation’s primary housing initiative. PERIS Foundation is a separate, registered 501©3 created to raise funds, community support and provide fiscal and program oversight of PERIS Hill.
