Kristi Pearson
Board Chair

Kristi brings a passion for libraries and two decades of corporate and nonprofit experience to her role leading Friends of the Hennepin County Library. As Executive Director & CEO, Kristi works in collaboration with the FHCL Board to set strategic direction, manage operations, and oversee financial stability.

Previously at Achieve Twin Cities, Kristi led a transformative, multimillion-dollar fundraising effort to increase career and college readiness for Minneapolis students. Earlier in her career, she spent several years in international sales and business development at Siemens, Eastman Kodak, and British Petroleum. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Outside of work, Kristi enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her family and friends in the great outdoors.
